Cole Sprouse admits he doesn't remember a lot from filming 'Suite Life of Zack & Cody'

Cole Sprouse may consider the "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" cast as family, but filming the show isn't exactly a core memory.
The former child star, 31, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight published Tuesday, admitted his time on the show is a "big blur" when asked about comments from former co-star Kim Rhodes.
Rhodes, in a podcast appearance in November, recalled an experience on the Disney Channel original show that saw Sprouse's twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, refuse to tell a "fat joke" about her pregnant character written in the script. Rhodes played mom Carey Martin to twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin on the show.
"One of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke, and he kept skipping over it," she said on the "Back to the Best" podcast. "(Dylan) goes, 'I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I'll say it.'"
The "Lisa Frankenstein" actor said the comment was "nice of her to say," but he doesn't remember the experience — or any specific experience from the show, for that matter.
"If I'm being fully honest, when you shoot that many episodes of a show, they kind of all blend together as one big amorphous memory," he said. "So, I don't really remember too much of that period."
He continued: "The specific details are kind of lost. It was a different time. I love Kim. I'm glad to hear that she looks back on all that fun."
Despite his memory failing him, he still keeps in contact with the show's cast and crew, which also includes Brenda Song, Ashley Tisdale and Alyson Stoner, among others. The Sprouse twins were 12 years old when the show began airing, and 18 when the show's spinoff "The Suite Life on Deck" ended.
"A lot of the cast and crew I still talk to from 'Suite Life.' I think when you spend eight years with a crew inside a soundstage, it's kind of inevitable you guys become a little bit of a family," Sprouse told the outlet.
The Sprouse brothers are well aware of nostalgia fans have for the show. They recently had fun with fans of the show, after a scene from Season 1 of the show's spinoff "The Suite Life on Deck" resurfaced due to the date of a fiction dinner reservation.
The episode, which first aired on Jan. 23, 2009, shows a hostess telling the boys, "I can squeeze you in at 7:30."
After a long pause, she adds, "… on Nov. 16, 2023."
"But that’s in 15 years," Cody responded.
After fans flocked to the brothers' Instagram comment sections on the day, Dylan Sprouse posted on his Instagram stories a photo of him holding his head, with text around the screen referencing the messages he's received from fans. Meanwhile, Cole Sprouse simply posted a screen recording of him scrolling through the hundreds of messages he received from fans about the reservation.
